ABOVE Restaurant & Bar, fittingly named, is located right above Eden Marketplace, South Orange’s gourmet grocer and the cornerstone of the South Orange Village Center. The restaurant overlooks the historic downtown area and is steps away its bustling landmark train station.Their executive chef Joe Catalano, takes full advantage of the marketplace, finding inspiration in the hundreds of gourmet selections that arrive daily… from the freshest meat, seafood, and produce to an array of incredible cheeses from around the globe.

The tile mosaic of the gypsy girl “Zuegma” keeps a watchful eye over diners in the main dining area, a masterpiece brought over from Turkey and assembled piece by piece in their dining room, adding to the restaurant’s worldly charm.
